Bible Verse: "You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways." Psalm 139:3 (NKJV)

Reflection:

Depending on what translation you use, Ps. 139:3 could conjure different meanings.

In the New International Version, God discerns our going out and lying down, and is familiar with our ways.

However, I think the translation that explains it to me the best is surprisingly the New King James Version, "You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with my ways."

Again, we come to the God who understands us, but one who is watching over us at all times, and knows our personalities and flaws, and still loves us.
